Hiya people!

Yes, it's been a while. Well it's kind of hard to blog with school and stuff, it's a busy year this year (GCSE's EEK!). But I'm enjoying it so far. I like that autumn is here, the lovely leaves and cold crisp mornings, not too hot, not too cold, just right! Animal Farm is going well, one month till the performance. I actually discovered one of the girls I'd got to know through doing this is actually my Dad's cousin's daughter... we're related. It was cool and extremely freaky all at the same time. I'm having fun on Sundays with the great amount of TV at the minute, doc martin, house (he's going insane... it's quite amusing), grease; the school musical and privileged (now I want to read the book ) . So I have to get all my homework done on a Saturday If I wish to enjoy these TV treats. Hmm, what else? I want GLEE to come to the UK (yes Meg, I know I'm impatient! lol). But I've become obsessed with the song don't stop believing because of the trailers and it's a very hard song to get out of your head! I feel like I'm babbling now. I need to pick a solid topic. School? Well, we're in the middle of our drama coursework and I had to write and perform a really upsetting monologue about being a displaced child. Luckily the emotion I put into it paid off and hopefully I've achieved good marks. I'm determined to do well this year, time for focus! Thank you for reading even though this wasn't particularly coherent.

Love C x

La vie en rose.

Well, hi everyone.

I need to get into the rhythm of posting regularly again. Well I suppose I better explain the title. My Dad has many times in the past threatened to run away to France. Well, he's finally followed through and is living the good life for a while with my uncle who lives over there. This isn't meant to sound mean or anything but in my opinion it's absolutely typical! We're all stuck at home in school and work and he hops on a discount flight to the land of garlic and wine. Anyway I've also had a rather interesting week at school also... we had an enterprise day where we were put into groups with instructions of branding our own chocolate bar. It was quite the experience... our group came up with the name chocfection. (Chocolate perfection in bar shaped form!). We all thought it was quite the pitch but alas no win for us. I didn't mind though, the day was so fun so winning didn't really matter. I've become slightly obsessed with wimbledon... and was egging on Andy Murray to win though unfortunatly he got knocked out yesterday =(. But hey thre's always next year! I'm still in Animal Farm although the rehersals are gruelling, 3 days a week for 3 hours after school but it's really fun.

I'll write again soon!

By the way enjoy the youtube video... this is me and my friends making use of the hot weather on a sunny lunch time...

Hi everyone.

Well I told you getting a new blog wouldn't help me update more regularly but hey I'm back now aren't I? So what has happened recently? I got a small part in Animal Farm (I wouldn't have received a larger part if my singing was up to scratch). But a parts a part. All my exams are finished which has added a sense of summer to the air (3 weeks till summer =)). To be honest not a lot has happened lately, we've just been watching videos in French now our GCSE course is over (some better than others) and basically enjoying the lovely sunshine we've been getting. So after this very short course I'll bid you goodbye as I really need to finish my English homework before House MD starts.

Bye! I'll write again soon... I promise (hopefully with something more exciting to report!!)

Sunny Afternoon

  • Music: Sunny Afternoon the kinks (classic!)
Hi everyone,

Well the sun was back today and was warmly excepted... more grassy picnics to come I hope. So I have a dilemma... one of my favourite subjects is Drama, I love it. I auditioned for the last play and got a small part, unfortunately I had to quit. Now there's a new play, Animal Farm. My friend really wants to audition but I don't. Well it's not that I don't want to... I really do actually, however I have a feeling I will not receive any part whatsoever (as of my failure to participate in the last). So I will put my name on the audition list tomorrow and my friend won't have to audition alone... hey it's worth a try isn't it? Hmm, what else of remote interest has been happening? Well, this weather is driving people to act loopy... today I've experienced people breaking into spontaneous song (hey jude to be exact) , shoe stealers, an argument over what is best pulp fiction or top gun and unlikely flower children. Oh I've got a French final GCSE exam tomorrow (listening) so I should probably get revising... in a minute... or five. Luckily I think I've got a handle on listening and we have a revision session before the exam anyway. English has been quite impressive lately, Our teacher gave us permission a few weeks ago to do a drama focus on Macbeth. On the condition that we didn't go outside... well five minutes a large group of boys from our class were outside 'pulling the invisible rope' along outside the window of the other English class, it was rather amusing actually. Well this is all for today folks, if you've read and enjoyed this I appreciate it.
Meg if you're reading this please write again soon, I love your blog! (Please read Meg's blog, there's a link on my friends list to it =))

Bye

Hello

  • Mood: rebelious
Hello everyone,

Well this is my new blog, partially because I couldn't remember the password to the old one and partially because I thought maybe a fresh start would encourage me to write more regularly... yeah right. (but I'll try). So where do I start? Well thanks to the recent rise in viewing numbers of Grey's anatomy within my friendship group, we've decided to be more random than normal and adapt Mc nick names. Yes Mc nick names, I'm Mc MTW (mock the week). The temperatures in Britain have been soaring the past couple of days... it was 25 today (that's hot for here)... so we've been enjoying the summer weather by having lunchtime picnics on the grass, good times (apart from the ants, flies and bees). House MD season five has just started here (I'm the biggest house fan!), and I'm loving it! (poor Wilson). However on a more annoying note, our school is having a 'uniform clampdown'. A school that has the best ofsted rating in the local area has decided it could do better, much to our disappointment. We have realitively good uniform standards but now they have officially banned; ballerina style school shoes (pumps, which all the girls wear as it's almost impossible to find any other type), pleated skirts (to cut down on variety!), any coat that isn't black, scarfs, skirts with any belt and cardigans. Anyone who 'dares' wear these items will be carted off to isolation... it's getting beyond ridiculous! Because of this we are being subjected to regular 'inspections' each morning and god forbid that you've got the wrong colour socks on, you're separated from the herd, persecuted... it's turning into a dictatorship. Well... that's my rant over. In lighter news it's mentoring week, which means we can leave school an hour early each day and get some well earned rest... oh the joy.

hoped you enjoyed that...
